The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission is an agency within the City and County of San Francisco that provides retail drinking water and wastewater services to San Francisco, wholesale water to three other Bay Area counties, and hydro electric power to many of San Francisco’s government operations. Headquartered at 1155 Market Street in San Francisco, the SFPUC has approximately 1,700 employees with a combined annual operating budget of approximately $400 million.
