City of Los Angeles Integrated Resource Plan
In 1999, Los Angeles began a planning process to integrate wastewater facilities, runoff management, water recycling and conservation using a regional watershed approach. The city conducted an extensive, interactive public participation program with diverse stakeholders. The Draft Environmental Impact Report was recently released and the City is currently seeking input on the alternative plans. King County, Washington Regional Wastewater Services Plan King County developed a comprehensive wastewater plan that outlined a number of projects and programs to implement over the next 30 years. The goal is to help ensure the county’s wastewater treatment system has sufficient capacity to serve the growing central Puget Sound region.
