Many groups and individuals are involved in the master plan process to help exchange information, provide input, or review and provide direction. These include:
Federal and State Regulatory Agencies
City Officials such as the Mayor, Board of Supervisors and SFPUC Commission to provide review and direction.
SFPUC Staff to lead technical, planning, and public participation efforts.
Steering Committee to provide general guidance; includes representatives from the SFPUC and other City departments such as the Department of Public Works.
Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) comprised of eight nationally renowned experts in disciplines related to wastewater to provide a neutral and independent review of engineering and technical work. Click here to view TAC member bios.
Citizens’ Advisory Committee (CAC) Wastewater Subcommittee to provide highly informed input reflecting the organizations, interests and neighborhoods they represent. The Wastewater Subcommittee meets the 3rd Thursday of every month, 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at SFPUC’s headquarters on 1155 Market Street, 4th Floor Conference Room.
